Use the assigned NYCPS location and device.
NYCPS provides the testing computer; students cannot use their own device or choose an unassigned location. Consult the 2027 guide for materials and arrival directions.
Try the official Student Readiness Tool so that highlighting, navigation and response entry consume less attention on test day.
Scratch-paper work does not count as a response. Enter or select the final response in the digital test before moving on, and stop when directed. The official readiness tool is the place to learn the provided tools before your assigned session.
The guide permits a test ticket, sharpened pencils, an eraser and a silent non-calculator watch; follow your assigned ticket instructions. Calculators, smart watches and study aids are prohibited. Alert the proctor immediately about illness or a technical problem rather than continuing silently.
