Select a solution using the supplied mathematical information.

Updated October 3, 2026

A method you can use

  1. Translate the givens into a labeled expression, table or sketch before calculating. Keep units and restrictions alongside the quantities.
  2. Use the shortest justified route: for a percent change, the original amount is the denominator; for a composite area, account for overlaps or holes before adding.
  3. Compare the entire alternative, including units and requested quantity. Numerical alternatives are ordered meaningfully; their position provides no evidence of correctness.
  4. Check the result against the original condition and a rough size estimate. The official test locks the item after advancing; this local bank permits explanation review.
