6 Month SAT® Study Plan


This study plan helps you prepare for the SAT over 6 months. It's designed to be thorough but manageable, allowing you to balance SAT preparation with your regular academic schedule.

In this study plan, each week is broken down to weekdays and weekends. Weekdays (Monday through Friday) are used for topic review and question-type specific problems and weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are reserved for practice tests and review sessions.

Focus: Initial Diagnostic Test

  • [2-3 hours] Master punctuation rules including commas, semicolons, and colons. Practice identifying correct punctuation usage. Complete 25-30 practice questions.

  • [2-4 hours] Study subject-verb agreement rules and common errors. Practice with singular/plural subjects and compound subjects. Complete 30-35 practice questions.

Week 2

Focus: Reading and Writing - Main ideas, Inferences, Command of Evidence
